Way I see it, the 'C' word is the final frontier. The 'F' word is now a integral part of the English language and most of us cannot clearly express ourselves without it.Therefore it is only natural that the 'C' word, will also become more freely used as a means of expression and eventually become acceptable, as the 'F' word now is.Good on her I say.Would have preferred to hear her daughter talking dirty though.

i went to see the vagina monologues (one of only a few guys in the audience), and the "c-word" was thrown around liberally because it pertains to the womanly bits. as a swear word it's a no-no, but it's a fine word for the hoo-hoo.

HOLLYWOOD icon Jane Fonda dropped the c-bomb live on US television today, forcing a major network to apologise to its viewers.

During an interview on NBC’s high-rating Today show, the workout queen exercised her vocabulary by using the c-word  while chatting about the play The Vagina Monologues.

“I live in Georgia, and I was asked to do a monologue called C*** and I said, ‘I don’t think so, I’ve got enough problems`,” Fonda said in a live broadcast just hours ago.

Today host Meredith Vieira laughed nervously following the faux-pas and quickly moved on with her questions.

No mention was made until well after the interview had finished, when Vieira apologised to any viewers offended by Fonda`s choice of language.

“In our last half hour we were talking about the Vagina Monologues and Jane Fonda inadvertently said a word from the play that you don’t say on television,” Vieira said.

“It was a slip and obviously she apologises and so do we – we would do nothing to offend the audience, so please accept that apology.

“And we come (back), we’re going to be talking about the secrets to making your love last.”

The live broadcast was watched by viewers on the east coast of the US, while a censored version of the interview was shown elsewhere.
