Obama has until now spoken too much rhetoric and not enough solutions. This speech could be a turning point for him. It's great. Any criticism that this particular speech is either too rhetorical or not doing enough to distance him from his pastor (who admittedly does appear to have said some dumb things) has totally missed the point of his speech, which is that people feel the way they do for good reasons, and moving forward involves everyone, black white or anything else, accepting that.

obama made a great and moving speech.translating his ideas and ideals into legislative action is an entirely different issue. let us hope he can do it far, far better than bill and hillarydid it in 1993.that said i feel more inclined to support obama rather than hillary.
