POLICE have sent the results of their investigation into the Iguana nightclub incident to state and commonwealth Directors of Public Prosecutions.

Police investigated conflicting sworn accounts of a disagreement between the party of Labor federal MP Belinda Neal and her husband, stood-down NSW Education Minister John Della Bosca, and staff at Iguanas Waterfront restaurant on the NSW Central Coast on June 6.

"NSW police have today provided material to the NSW Director of Public Prosecutions for consideration following an alleged incident at a Central Coast restaurant," police said.

"The same information has also been supplied to the Commonwealth DPP.

"Detectives from Brisbane Water Local Area Command have now completed their investigation and await a determination of any possible further action," police said.
