POLICE are looking for the parents or guardians of a little girl found wandering the streets of Melbourne in her pyjamas this morning.
The toddler, believed to be aged between three and four, was found in suburban Deer Park in Melbourne`s west about 3am (AEST).
She was tired but not distressed, and was carrying her bottle, when she was found by ambulance officers carrying a milk bottle, Sergeant Dean Parrello said.
"She is a little cutie, she is very quiet, I am sure we will hear from her parents once they wake up and realise she is missing," he said.
"She has had a bit of a rest and is having some toast and juice at the moment."
Sgt Parrello said it was not uncommon for police to find missing children but they were usually quickly claimed by parents.
She was described as having a brown complexion, brown eyes and long brown, tight curly hair and was wearing a pink flannelette pyjama top and pants with a penguin print on them.
