It seems that these kids think that knives and guns are the way to go.When I was young I was shown what guns could do animals and I knew that people don't get up after being shot like in the movies. When we fought with our hands we won some we lost some but we lived to fight another day.No one deserves to die over petty quarrels.

This such a sad and devastating ending for such a young man at 18 with such a promising acting career ahead. I completely understand his protection for his younger brother, something older siblings tend to do. I am sure he would have turned out to become an amazing actor.

THE family of the Harry Potter star who was stabbed to death during a fight outside a London bar has paid tribute to him during an emotional visit to the crime scene.

Rob Knox, who plays student Marcus Belby in Harry Potter And The Half-Blood Prince, due out in November, was killed on Saturday in a scuffle in the southeastern suburb of Sidcup.

His family paid tribute to him after visiting the scene where the actor was fatally stabbed.

Knox`s parents Colin and Sally said ``Rob was kind and thoughtful and would always help out others.

``The life and soul of the party, he was very outgoing, loved sports, and would always strike up a conversation with people.

``He was respectful to others and adored by all his family and friends.``

Rob`s father also made an emotional plea for people to stop carrying knives.

``With knives there are no winners and only losers. If you are a person who carries a knife, think about the consequences before you carry the knife because if you carry a knife, there`s an intention to use it and please don`t do that for the sake of my son,`` he said, breaking down.

The fatal stabbing allegedly took place after a man came to the bar in Sidcup armed with two knives and was seen waving one of them around through the window.

A scuffle broke out and Knox and his brother Jamie reportedly tried to protect each other.

Several others sustained knife wounds.

The brothers` friends Tom Hopkins, 18, and Tarik Ozress, 17, managed to pin the armed man down, wrestling with him for several minutes before police arrived.

Hopkins, who was stabbed in the head, said: "Rob was just trying to help out. He was like that. I grabbed the knife, I didn`t know at the time that he had another knife. It was just chaos.``

Knox was taken to hospital and pronounced dead.

Unable to hold back tears, Knox`s younger brother said he had lost his best mate.

``My relationship with Rob was a very strong one. He took me everywhere he went with him. He was my best friend,`` he said.

Friends said there had been a row over a phone last week and believe it could have been a revenge attack.

Police said a 21-year-old man had been arrested on suspicion of murder.

In a statement, film producers Warner Bros said: "We are all shocked and saddened by this news and at this time our sympathies are with his family.``

The fatal stabbing takes to 14 the number of teenagers violently killed in the British capital this year.
