WOLVERINE and The Rock is one muscle mix not to be messed with.
Fitness fanatic Johnson flew into Sydney early on Sunday to relax in the company of some of his Australian Hollywood friends before spruiking his latest film The Game Plan.
Johnson, 35, who last visited Australia three years ago, soaked up the local sun with an intimate lunch with the Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness at Rose Bay restaurant Catalina.
"I had lunch with Hugh Jackman and his wife, which was great. I knew them from the States and when Hugh was flying back from LA he rang saying we should catch up, so we did," he said.
While Johnson happily shared fitness tips with his mate, he is trying to shape up as a serious actor in his latest family-friendly comedy.
"I quit wrestling a few years ago and I realised when you get into movie-making if you want to be good at acting you have to commit yourself 100 per cent," Johnson said.
The Game Plan, which revolves around a selfish pro football player whose bachelor life is thrown into disarray by the arrival of an eight-year-old daughter he never knew existed, opens nationally from November 1.
