Better gobal regulations needed - White House

THE White House says the global financial leaders should come together in the wake of the US financial storm to improve international regulations to prevent another crisis.
Asked whether Washington would favour tighter oversight, White House spokesman Tony Fratto said: "I would say better global regulations, not necessarily tighter global regulations - but we want to them to be better and more effective."
