A RUNAWAY pig with a huge appetite for trouble, and bananas, will get to focus his energies on sows after his dramatic capture today.
Bruce, aka Pigzilla, who had moved in and taken over a small farm outside Uki in northern New South Wales in recent weeks, was captured by rangers from the Rural Land Protection Board, the Courier-Mail reported.
He will be shipped off to a piggery at a secret location where several sows are already waiting for him.
Ms Hayes had been reduced to feeding the hungry porker dozens of bananas to placate him.
"I guess I can see the funny side, but he gets really aggressive when you don`t feed him and I have been terrified at times, because it hasn`t been safe to leave the house," she said.
The neighbours were also tired of Bruce`s antics, chasing people and pets to satisfy his insatiable appetite and leaving a trail of destruction.
He wrecked Ms Hayes`s yard, fences and a dam, and even forced his way in to the family car and an old school bus in hsi search for food.
No one had come forward to claim ownership of the trespassing trotter, which turned up some weeks ago with an infected eye and scratches down his back.
Judging my these pics a mate is what Bruce needs...might explain his aggression!! :)
