More money ... Nathan Roberts said he`d streak again but only if more money was put on the table.
Man streaks at country footy match for $50
Knocks himself out during cartwheel dare
Admits he`s an exhibitionist
ILLNESS cut short his playing season, but that didn`t stop Nathan Roberts from taking to the field on Saturday - except he was naked and managed to knock himself out.
The Daily Telegraph reports Mr Roberts, 26, of Salisbury, streaked during the Adelaide Plains Football League preliminary final match between United and Hummocks Watchman Eagles at Virginia Oval.
"I said I would for a gold-coin donation . . . then there was $50 on the table so I had to do it."
Part of the challenge was that Mr Roberts had to complete a cartwheel.
However, that is where everything came undone.
"Mid-air I changed my mind . . . I half landed on my foot and went face first into the ground," he said.
While he was unconscious and had to be carried out on a stretcher, Mr Roberts was not seriously injured and still collected his $50.
"I had a bit of a headache and my neck was a bit sore," he said.
Mr Roberts, who only played half of this season with the Virginia B Grade team because he suffered from fluid on the lung, pneumonia and an inflamed liver and spleen, admitted he was an exhibitionist.
"I like a bit of attention and I`d do it again," he said. "But I`d up the price."
