While striking a seasoned pose on the David Jones red carpet last night, Gale could have just casually waggled her ring finger adorned with the sparkling Tiffanys engagement ring and waited for the headlines to roll on in.
Rumours suggesting she and long term love Andy Lee had finally become engaged had Confidential speculating overtime yesterday.
According to our southern spies, the DJs darling and her beau were looking quite the wedded couple-to-be as Gale tried on engagement rings at Tiffanys Melbourne last week.
Given the womens magazines` perennial breathless suggestions of a wedding and Gale`s 32nd birthday tomorrow, the explanation could have been simple - had Lee not stepped up to set the record straight.

Pressed for the real reason behind the jewellers` jaunt, Lee said the couple were in Tiffanys returning a gift.
"No, there`s no wedding bells ringing," Lee told Confidential with a laugh yesterday.
"We weren`t even in the rings section. And it wasn`t for her birthday either, which was an error on my part. I have planned something romantic though."
Gale sat sans Lee at the DJ`s fashion extravaganza last night, taking in the summer collections from her front-row perch.
