A MAN who crashed his car through a gate at Brisbane airport and drove onto the tarmac will not face charges.

The man was arrested shortly after the incident at 9.30pm (AEST) yesterday, an Australian Federal Police spokeswoman said.

It is understood the man suffers from a medical condition and no charges have been laid.

Airport operations were unaffected, she said.
