POLICE and emergency services personnel will resume two separate searches for three men missing in north Queensland this morning.
Two men, aged 20 and 21, have not been seen since entering forestry land at Finch Hatton, near Mackay, for a dirt bike ride yesterday, police said.
The pair left Mackay in a ute, which was found about 20 kilometres inland from the Mackay Eungella Road late yesterday.
SES crews were assisting police with the search.
Near Townsville, a man in his early 20s was reported missing at 8pm (AEST) yesterday after going for a bushwalk in the Bowling Green Bay National Park, police said.
The man is believed to have been walking to a waterfall, but failed to return to the Alligator Creek campgrounds in the park, located about 30 kilometres south of Townsville.
The Emergency Management Queensland (EMQ) helicopter conducted a brief search last night, and was due to return to the area with police and SES crews at first light today.
