Militants free foreigners in Nigeria

MILITANTS released 12 foreign hostages in Nigeria`s oil-producing Niger Delta as a prelude to peace talks with the government, a state government spokesman said.

The released men comprised five Americans, three Britons, two Indians and two others, taken in at least three separate raids in Africa`s top oil producer over the last few weeks.
